Netherlands (Dutch: Koninkrijk der Nederlanden, literally means "Land of the Kingdom of Low-Land") is a country in northwestern Europe. To the east it borders the German state, on the south by Belgium and the west by the North Sea.

The word Dutch in the Indonesian language is taken from the Portuguese: Holanda -> Olanda -> wolanda -> bolanda -> "Netherlands".

Denmark is is the smallest Nordic country and the south. Denmark is situated in the southwest of Sweden and south of Norway. The country is located in Scandinavia, Northern Europe that included the European Union but not in the Scandinavia Peninsula. 

 

Denmark borders the Baltic Sea and North Sea. Territory covers a peninsula in northern Germany called Jylland (Jutland), Islands Fyn (Funen), Sjælland (Zealand), Vendsyssel-Thy, Lolland, Falster, Bornholm and hundreds of small islands, often called the Danish islands. Denmark has long controlled the Baltic Sea. Before excavation Kiel Canal, waterway towards the Baltic Sea can only be passed through the three Danish Straits. The only land border is with Germany Denmark, while his neighbor is bounded by the sea in northeast Sweden and Norway in the north.
